Is this the same thing as pimple patches?

Will it stay on overnight?

How does the hydrocolloid roll actually work?
The medical-grade hydrocolloid forms a protective seal over your pimple, drawing out pus, oil and fluid while keeping the spot moist — the same material class used in clinical wound care for decades. You’ll know it’s working when the patch turns white or cloudy overnight.
How long should I leave it on?
6–12 hours is ideal — overnight works best. Resist the urge to peek early. Once the patch turns fully white, it has absorbed everything it can and is ready to be swapped for a fresh cut. If it’s still clear after several hours, the blemish may not have had much fluid yet — that’s completely normal.
Will it work on my type of pimple?
Works best on whiteheads, popped pimples, and surface-level papules and pustules — anywhere there’s fluid near the surface to draw out. It won’t reach deep cystic acne or treat blackheads, as those don’t have the surface fluid the hydrocolloid needs. For everyday breakouts, results are visible overnight.
Can I wear it under makeup during the day?
Yes! The Zyntra Hydrocolloid Roll is ultra-thin and nearly invisible, so you can apply foundation and concealer right on top. Cut your patch, press it on clean dry skin before any makeup, and treat your skin all day without anyone noticing a thing.
How much do I get from one roll?
Each roll is 2 in × 5 ft — 120 square inches of hydrocolloid. How many patches that is depends on how big you cut them; since you cut exactly what each breakout needs, there’s no waste, and most people find one roll lasts months.
What if it doesn’t stick?
Clean, dry skin, rounded corners, nothing underneath. If it still won’t hold, email us within 30 days and we’ll refund you.
Is the backing hard to peel?
Cut the piece first with the backing on, then bend it slightly and lift a corner with a fingernail. It comes away in one piece.
